Bridal Showcase

The Bridal Showcase hosted this past January by Bartolotta’s was the Event (that’s right with a capital E!) to attend so far this year. The event was held at the beautiful Grain Exchange in downtown Milwaukee’s Mackie Building. The main ball room was adorned with various wedding reception styles for future brides to see. Top notch florists, photography studios, bridal boutiques, and wedding planner vendors were there to represent their quality products and services. Guests were served gourmet food samples, including steak, pasta, and duck… oh, and the dessert table filled with unimaginable sweetness! See, told you this was an Event.

So, what does the Bridal Showcase have to do with Je Suis Talent? A great event like this needs great representation… and that’s where we come in.

Two of our Je Suis models were specifically requested to model for this event. Bria Studelska and Halle Robertson modeled in bridal gowns and brides maid dresses from Zita Bridal Boutique. Dresses worth thousands seemed priceless when our models walked the runway wearing them. Bria and Halle remained beautifully poised and professional throughout the entire event, and they just blew the audience members away.

We are so proud of them, and we are ecstatic about the future opportunities that this show has opened up for them. Keep up the great work Je Suis models!

The Winter Modeling Session is underway

Modeling sessions help students improve their self-confidence and physical skills that are necessary in the modeling industry... but most importantly- the class is FUN! Every Saturday morning our young ladies put on their heeled shoes, and Instructor Stephanie Brown teaches them how to strut their stuff -runway style- with a head held high. Classes began February 5th, and already our students are excelling and improving.

The Summer Modeling Session dates will be announced soon. Students enrolled in the Summer Modeling Session will have an opportunity to participate in the 2nd Annual Je Suis Talent Fashion Show coming up this August. So stay tuned!

Beauty & the Beast Jr, NSAA

Let’s give a round of applause for our talented students who landed various parts in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Jr play that was presented by the North Shore Academy of the Arts, Inc.  January 21-23. The play was brilliant, and the cast included several Je Suis family members: Rachel Ross as Belle (Yellow Cast), Kennedy Ross as Babette/Villager, Lydia Stevenson as Madame de la Grande Bouche/Villager, and Elizabeth Sattler as Belle (Red Cast). The success of the play was apparent—as the girls were approached with flowers and showered with requests for their autographs. Je Suis Talent is sincerely proud of each of their achievements.

In addition, Je Suis Talent is pleased to welcome two new students who also starred in Beauty and the Beast, Jr: Nicole Golownia and Lizzy Saler. Welcome to you both! We are thrilled to have you join us.
